Woking Markets

A market is located on all week days by the Post Office in Woking. There are a wide variety of stall including Fruit & Vegetables and pet food.

Farmer's Market

The Farmer's Market is regularly held in the Town Square between 9am - 2.30pm. This years the market will be held on:

Saturday 29th November
Thursday 18th December

Woking's French Market

The French Market will be in the town on 5th, 6th & 7th September between 9am - 4.30pm.


January

The Ambassadors Pantomime

After the success of is Peter Pan in 2007-2008, we await the announcement of this year's pantomime. Woking Surrey Online will bring you the information as soon as we have it.



February

5th Feb - Pancake Race

This year's pancake race will took place at midday outside the Peacocks Centre and Library in Woking. We have a report on the Woking Pancake Race 2008

The Woking Canal Festival

The Woking Canal Festival will be held at Bridge Barn on Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd March 2008. For more information please call 01932 344564.

Horsell Scouts and Guides Grand May Fayre - 5th May 2008

The traditional May Fayre takes place on Bank Holiday Monday at the Wheatsheaf Common, Horsell. Come along and have a go on the stalls and enjoy the arena entertainment, including May Pole Dancing.

30th September - 11th October : 50th Woking Drama Festival

The Rhoda McGaw Theatre plays host to the 50th Woking Drama Festival. The festival offers a range of one-act plays from amateur groups over the South East. Tickets cost £8(£7 Concessions) and can be booked on 01832 702091.



October

11th October : Eid in Woking

A Day of activities for all the family in Woking, making the end of Ramadan.



November

7th November : Diwali Lantern Parade

The Lantern Parade will take place in the town centre with lanterns from local businesses.

7th - 8th November : The Woking Beer Festival

The Woking Beer Festival takes place on the 7th and 8th November 2008. The Woking Wurlitzer will also be playing. Tickets are on sale from 20th August priced at £6 per person. The tickets can be purchased at Woking Leisure centre or over the phone on 01483 771122
